Can you believe it? It’s 2009! I saw on the TV that Wall Street had a up day for the first day open for the new year. They said, Liza Minnelli rang the bell, and it was fitting since she was the one that sang “Money is what makes the world go around”.
Also, they said that the first open day of the new year usually sets the tone for the rest of the year. I sure hope that sticks this year, because they pointed out that the first day of 2008 was lousy and we all know how last year went.
