The virus with many names is making it’s way around the world and causing much alarm and receiving much attention. First called swine influenza (Flu) and now referred to as swine influenza A H1N1 virus. The CDC say’s they will provide updated guidance and new information as it becomes available at this link CDC You [...] The severity of the Swine Flu situation seems to grow with every report I hear or read the last couple of days. It seems it started in Mexico and has quickly spread to the USA, Canada, UK and now a case in Spain has been reported. I first heard about it while I was cooking pork [...] We were sitting around the dinner table the other evening talking about fruit and fruit trees. Someone said something about a banana tree and I remembered that I read that they are not really trees at all. Wow, that was news! Spent most of the weekend outside actually looking for things to do so I could stay outside and enjoy the sun in warmth.
