Wow, what a beautiful morning it was this morning. The sun was out shining warm and bright it was a no jacket required kind of morning, and I was on a mission…buy flowers, lots of flowers.
I picked up a friend then we were off to the local college for their annual student plant sale. I first went to find the vegetable plants, this was first priority. I found and bought vegetable plants…tomato, cucumber, cantaloupe, green pepper and yellow pepper.
Next it was time to take a look at the flower plants, yes I found several of them…maybe too many for my pocket, but hey it helps the local college and they really where good prices.
I found a few perennials for several areas of the yard and a few annuals for my walkway. I decided on a color scheme right then and there, flowers can be so inspiring that I could have found a spot in my yard for all of them.
But now I have to wait about another week till the last frost of the season, so I can plant, plant, plant all these very lovely flowers and vegetable plants in the ground of their new home.
