Well, it is Mothers Day again, “Happy Mothers Day” to all you mothers out there! My girls fixed me a mothers day breakfast and I opened my wonderful gifts first thing this morning. Well, it was first thing in the morning to me…they let me sleep in a bit, nice. Then I called my mother to wish her a happy mothers day, and we talked for a bit. She was remembering her mother and when she was a young girl and all the chores her mother had her and her siblings do on the weekends. My mom said her mother always had things for the four of them to do to keep them busy, but she never really new what her mother was doing while they were all doing their chores. Then it was back to flowers and plants, and digging in the yard to make room for green beans and green peas. I really wanted to plant, but I checked the weather and it shows that we are to get down to about 34F tonight…a bit cold yet. After tonight I might be able to plant them in the ground and have them be alright. I just don’t want to do another last year when I got in a hurry and had to dig the plants back up and take in the house to try and save them, most where saved, but not all. Then it was pizza and a movie, yumm…the movie was one the youngest picked out, Marly and Me. It really was a cute movie and realy pointed out some good reasons not to get a large dog.
