Oh my, I was so looking forward to enjoying raspberries from my new raspberry plants I recently planted. I watch them flower, then the little berries slowly turn pink AND THEN they are GONE! Gee you would think the birds would at least share a few with me. I just absolutely love big red raspberries, I sure hope the birds will start sharing soon.

Yes, they are newly planted this year and only about two to three feet tall. I had forgotten how much birds enjoyed raspberries. But, the last few days I have actually enjoyed a few of the berries myself, they are sooo yuummmyyyy! Thanks for sharing birds.

You say they’re new? Maybe next year there will be more and the birds will be glad to share. I wonder if it would work to set up another yummy food source for them so they don’t eat all the raspberries. Probably not.. robins are pretty smart. =]
I have some raspberry plants at home too. I saw a chipmunk the other day carrying a raspberry in his hand and his cheeks were full too! After that, he went back to his home under the shed. Our robins also like the raspberries. I also have four strawberry plants and I got three big red strawberries from it. My four plants aren’t doing that well, I really need to plant them into the ground soon.
