Mountain Bars with Coconut Recipe

This recipe for Mountain Bars with Coconut is a favorite in our chocolate loving home and will be in yours too. There is no baking required, just the use of the stove top.

In large bowl mix:

  • 1 cup coconut flakes
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 5 cups oats
  • 1/3 cup cocoa
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla

Bring to boil for one minute:

  • 4 cups sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup butter

Add boiling mixture to ingredients in bowl.

Mix well until it turns into a chocolate color.

Cool for 10 minutes.

Spoon out onto foil or wax paper and let harden.
